UP Lockdown: Markets Will Open In Districts Under 600 Covid-19 Cases | See what is open, what is closed

UP Lockdown: According to an official release, the Corona curfew will continue in 20 districts that have more than 600 active cases. In the remaining 55 districts, shops will be allowed to open with strict safety protocols from 7.a.m to 7 p.m. 

Lucknow: To witness the improvement in the state of Covid in the province, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday announced a brief break at the existing borders of Covid lockdown.

CM Yogi Adityanath said in a statement on Sunday, “The detention period will continue in districts with more than 600 active cases of COVID for one more week. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to an official release, the Corona curfew will continue in 20 districts that have more than 600 active cases.

These districts are Lucknow, Meerut, Saharanpur, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Jaunpur, Sonbhadra, Baghpat, Moradabad, Ghazipur, Bijnor, and Deoria. 

In the remaining 55 districts, shops will be allowed to open with strict safety protocols from 7.a.m to 7 p.m.

According to the guidelines, the night curfew will remain in place from 7 pm to 7 am. The weekend restrictions or “corona curfew” will remain in place on Saturday and Sunday.

school, colleges and educational institutions will continue to remain shut. Public places such as restaurants and eateries will remain shut for dinning, however, home delivery has been permitted. 

Training centers, shopping malls, gymnasiums and swimming pools will remain closed. A maximum of 20 people are allowed to attend the wedding ceremony while only 10 people can attend the funeral. Private institutions will be allowed to operate with limited access.
