First anniversary- Ayodhya Ram Mandir: The construction works of the great temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya are in full swing. Today, one year has been completed for Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the temple. These disputes that have erupted in a year are
celebrated in Ayodhya on the occasion of the first birthday of Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan. However, many controversies have also surfaced during this year. There were also allegations of fraud and corruption in the purchase of land for the construction of the temple.

A few months ago, the leader of the SP Tejnarayan Pandey alias Pawan Pandey had made allegations of fraud in the purchase of land. Tejnarayan had told a press conference in Ayodhya that on March 18, 2021, the land was sold for two crore rupees. Then 10 minutes later the land deal was made for Rs 18.5 crore. Administrator Anil Mishra and Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay witness both the agreement and the deed. The SP chief raised questions that within minutes how did the two crore land become worth Rs 18 and a half crore. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh also made corruption allegations regarding the purchase of land on behalf of the Ram Temple by holding a press conference in Lucknow. Congress had also called for a CBI investigation into the matter.

However, Champat Rai, secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, had called the allegations baseless and politically motivated. Champat Rai had clarified that the amount of land purchased by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. It was bought at a much lower rate than the free market price.

Another dispute arose regarding the purchase of land by the trust. In fact, the trust had purchased the land of the Fakire Ram temple adjacent to Ram Janmabhoomi. The dispute over the ownership of this land has reached the court. A person by the name of Santosh Dubey had challenged the property rights of Raghuvar Sharan, who sold the land. He also filed numerous demands in court, such as quashing the land register, appointing receivers of temple land across the country, not to damage the temple, and to continue the regular bhog raga to God in the temple.
