Mukul Roy- Calcutta: BJP National Vice President Mukul Roy and his son Subhranshu Roy returned home today after nearly four years. He left TMC and joined the BJP in November 2017, has joined West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after a lengthy discussion today.

On this occasion, Abhishek Banerjee, Mamta Banerjee’s nephew, dressed Mukul Roy and gave him a hug. After that, Mukul Roy said it’s good to come home. Bengal is owned by Mamata Banerjee and will remain so. I couldn’t stay at the BJP.

At the same time, Mamta Banerjee said that I am happy that Mukul has returned home. Many other leaders who went to BJP want to come back. We never broke anyone’s party. We did not use agencies. Those who want to come come to the party. There is only room in TMC for honest leaders.

TMC Chairman Mamata said: “Those who criticized the party, the BJP and those who betrayed the party before the election for money will not come back. They are traitors.

Suffice to say that for a few days, Mukul Roy had kept his distance from the BJP.
