CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 CANCELLATION: In a letter, the Class 12 students have urged the SC to direct the government to provide alternative assessment schemes for board exams.

Among the growing demand for cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, approximately 300 Class 12 students have sent a letter to Chief Justice of India NV Ramana to overturn CBSE’s decision to hold CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 hosted among the growing coronavirus cases in the country.

In the letter, the students asked the high court to direct the government to provide alternative tests for Class 12 students.

According to reports, CBSE plans to conduct Class 12 2021 board exams from July 15 to August 26. CBSE is expected to make a final decision on the matter after a review meeting on June 1. It will be noted that CBSE has proposed conducting the exam on July 15 to August 26 and announce the results in September.

Earlier, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank had urged states to suggest ideas related to holding the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 by May 25. “I have requested the State Governments to send me their detailed suggestions by 25th May,” the education minister said after the meeting. 

In a related development, Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said on Tuesday, “CBSE board examinations should be conducted as it plays a vital role in students’ life. However, this can’t happen amid the current situation. But a tentative date should be announced. There is also an option of online examination.”

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) in another policy change marker for CBSE Board Exam Class 10 2021 on Monday (May 24).

The FAQ results for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 contain questions about the assessment process, examinations in foreign schools, teacher integration and many other important issues.
