CBSE private applicants exams between August 16 to September 15

CBSE private applicants exams: The board further informed that the results can not be prepared for the private candidates as both schools and the boards have no previous record to evaluate the candidates.

New Delhi: The Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Wednesday that the council will hold exams for the private category of applicants between August 16 and September 15, in line with the policy set by the Supreme Court.

The board further informed that results cannot be prepared for private applicants as schools and boards have no previous records to assess applicants.

Private applicants are those who were regular CBSE students and failed to qualify on the first or second attempt and will want to reappear on the CBSE board exam for passing or improving their scores.

The council also informed that the decision to hold the exams for the private candidates was discussed by the Supreme Court of India, and therefore the policy was tabulated to conduct the exams and then declared the results of the private candidates.

“UGC and CBSE are examining the interest of all students and UGC will synchronize the admission schedule based on the outcome of these students, as was done by UGC in 2020,” CBSE said.

The full review schedule will be released by the board in due course. The results of private candidates will be declared shortly after the exams are held.

Note: Students are advised to continue to visit the official CBSE Board of Directors website at cbse.gov.in for the latest updates regarding the CBSE Board of Directors exam for private applicants.
