The CBSE 2021 board exam is likely to be held between July 15 to August 26. Specific dates will be allocated by the minister of education on June 1.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to host the CBSE Class 12 board exam in 2021 from July 15 to August 26. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will announce the date and exam form on June 1.

Yesterday a high-level meeting was held with education ministers from all provinces to discuss the possibility of CBSE, CISCE, citing board exams and other entry tests as a result of the second Covid-19 wave.

The CBSE has recommended that Class 12 2021 board exams be held between July 15 and August 26 and the result will be announced in September.

CBSE 2021 board exams has two options
The CBSE suggested that board exams be held in certain major subjects only or that the time limit be reduced to 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours. Many Ministers at yesterday’s meeting supported the latter option. However, some want a combination of both options.

For the second option, a 1.5 hour or 90 minute test will have a different test pattern. There will be MCQ questions only so that students can complete the test in the given time.

This will be done in students’ own schools and they will need to appear in one language course and three options, a source told PTI.

The timeline of the trial trial states that it will be held in two phases Phase 1 from July 15 to August 1, and Phase 2 from August 6 to August 26. It was suggested that the tests be held on Sunday as well.

Edit B from CBSE
As an alternative to B, CBSE has suggested that students be given the option to appear on the CBSE 2021 board exam approximately 15 days later if they fail to appear due to any Covid-19-related problem.

However, we do not know if this option will be taken until June 1 when Pokhriyal will announce the final decision on dates and test format.

CBSE 2021 board inspections will be held by all means
As in the past year, and this year, the CBSE 2021 board test will be held on all existing Covid-19 safety standards. Public tracking and other procedures will be followed.

Meanwhile, a large segment of students, parents and teachers have been demanding the cancellation of the CBSE 2021 board exam on social media.

However, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said, “Both student and teacher safety, security and the future are of utmost importance to us.”

Opposition from Delhi and Maharashtra
The CBSE board exam options were discussed at a high-level meeting on Sunday and it is thought that most agree with the 90-minute test route, Delhi and Maharashtra completely opposing the idea of testing in the midst of the epidemic.

Pokhriyal has given the provinces, especially those that do not agree, until May 25 to submit their detailed proposals.

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Education in Delhi Manish Sisodia said, “The stubbornness of organizing exams for child safety play will be a big mistake and a failure.”

He wants students to be vaccinated before they appear on board tests. He suggested that Pfizer (its child-approved vaccine in several countries) should be consulted or that it should be given to children after a consultation with a specialist who is 17.5 years old and a few months old from 18 months.

This is because people who are 18 years and older are eligible for vaccination in India.

Maharashtra State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said, “The health and well-being of children must be a priority for their families. Pupils, parents have been talking about their worries about writing exams in the midst of this epidemic ”

“As many professional courses have entry tests, many experts are of the opinion that it is possible to test the performance of a grade 12 student according to a retrospective test model,” he added.
