CBSE Class 12, 2021 board exams: Karnataka recommends program B for Examination

BENGALURU: The Karnataka government has notified the Center that plans for the II PU exams are scheduled for July 2021. The PU Department of Education has said it thinks Phase B could have CBSE exams.

Following a meeting with the Department of Education on Sunday, the institute asked all provinces to submit written comments on how the CBSE exams were conducted. Karnataka said option B is obvious. Plan B of CBSE says the tests will be conducted in the same schools where students enroll only for major subjects. According to plan B, the tests will be for 90 minutes, for a variety of options and only for 19 major courses. Students must appear in one language with only three elective subjects. Tests will be conducted twice (July 15 to August 1 and August 5 to August 26).

“The pattern of examination and reduction of subjects to be tried by students is still being discussed by the state after the meeting on 23.05.2021 under the chairmanship of the Minister of Defense of India,” the DPUE said on the examination. However, he added that the Pre-University Department has completed pre-exam work so changing the exam method will be difficult. Students will face pressure if they change the test at this time of year, he said. Sources said talks were being held on the number of courses to be held.
