Earlier on Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered him to immediately arrange at least 2000 beds in the ICU in the capital Lucknow due to the growing threat of Covid19. After this, per week, he was asked to arrange for an additional 2,000 thousand beds. The Chief Minister directed the DM to double the number of 48 government ambulances available in the city, as well as to ensure the continued supply of oxygen to all Covid hospitals in the region.
The Chief Minister has called for the establishment of telemedicine centers in the Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi districts most affected by Covid infection. He also instructed officials to run Rama Medical College in Kanpur as a dedicated Covid hospital. It was also suggested that at least one RT-PCR investigation be conducted in the daily Covid investigation in the province. Giving instructions for getting a full follow-up at Lucknow, CM Yogi said at least 30 to 35 people who come in contact with anyone infected should be followed and 100 percent of them should be tested with Covid. Those found to be infected during the investigation should be kept in solitary confinement at home or in a hospital. The Integrated Command and Control Center should be connected to ambulance services. This will help provide patients with timely ambulances.
The Chief Minister told the Lucknow Police Commissioner that people should not be allowed to enter religious sites at the same time. To communicate with marketers and take their cooperation, social termination must be followed. Traffic in the content area should be blocked. Strict measures should be taken against those who do not wear masks. He gave instructions to activate monitoring committees in all villages and in all wards of all community structures in Lucknow.
