Will JEE Main 2022 session 2 be postponed? The application window will reopen

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application process for JEE Main 2022 session 2 in response to requests for an additional attempt from engineering aspirants. Since many students were unable to participate in JEE Main session 1 for a variety of reasons, students have been calling for an additional attempt at JE Main. While students assert that the Agnipath protest damaged the transportation system in their area, many Assamese students were unable to attend exams because of flooding there. Additionally, Rajasthan implemented Section 144 for the most recent JEE Main 2022 exam, which confused students. Many students from Rajasthan, notably those from Kota, the coaching centre, enrol in the JEE Main.

NTA has now reopened the application procedure in response to the increasing demand so that anyone who missed the exam for any reason could take it again in the second session. NTA is only hosting two sessions this year. In order to help the students who were impacted by COVID-19, the exam was divided into four parts last year. Although the epidemic still threatens, it is well under control now after two years, thus the relaxation was reversed.

Unpaid candidates will not be taken into consideration. The release of the advanced city notification slips and admit cards has also been delayed due to the extension of the application deadline. This has further sparked worries about whether the exam as a whole has been delayed.

Despite requests from students, the NTA has not yet issued a postponement of the tests. The second JEE Main 2022 session will run from July 21 to July 30.

Chemistry was the easiest section, and mathematics was the hardest, according to the exam analysis of session 1. According to experts, the cut-off for the best institutions may increase to a 90 percentile score.

Candidates who applied for JEE Main session 1 and wish to participate in JEE Main session 2 must log in using the application number and password they used for session 1 of JEE Main. For session 2, they are limited to choose the exam’s paper, media, and cities while also paying the exam fees.
