JEE Main 2022 Aspirants Have Requested The NTA To Provide An Extra Attempt

This time, the (Joint Entrance Examination) JEE Main 2022 will be split into two sessions. Although the first session is completed and the second is set to begin on July 21, contenders are now asking for an additional chance. Students assert that a number of problems, such as server failures, the Agnipath protest, and the Assam flood, affected the first attempt of JEE Main. The remaining tests should either be postponed at the request of the students, or a second chance should be offered.

The candidates for the engineering entrance exam have emphasised that, because to the disturbance imposed by the Covid-19 outbreak last year, the exam-conducting agency, National Testing Agency (NTA), held the JEE Main 2021 four times. There have been many breaks this year as well, so they will get another chance. With the hashtag #ExtraAttemptJEEMAINS2022, they have gone to social media platforms like Twitter.

All India Student’s Union (AISU) claimed in a letter to the NTA dated July 5 that some candidates were unable to arrive at the exam site in time because of either protests or flooding in the north-east. The letter also noted that more than 500 trains had been cancelled, section 144 had been implemented in numerous areas of the nation, and the internet had been shut down. Due to server issues, question papers were not completely visible in many exam centres. In order to “ensure fair chance and opportunities,” the students further asked the NTA in their letter to provide them an additional JEE Mains attempt in 2022.

In addition to earlier demands to delay the medical entrance exam, NEET, there are also protests to delay JEE Main 2022. Several candidates have now turned to a hunger strike to urge a delay. They have asked to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that all other people have rejected them. Now, they claimed, they wanted the PM to hear their complaints. A significant number of students have also tweeted with the phrase “let’s go to Modi’s residence,” or “let’s go to Modi’s residence,” and they are threatening to begin a march in that direction.
