UGC NET 2021 postponed, new exam dates soon: NTA

UGC NET 2021 which was scheduled to be held from October 17 to 25 has been postponed, the NTA said on Saturday.

The UGC NET 2021 which was due to start on October 17 has been postponed, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Saturday. The review has been postponed because it collides with other major reviews, the NTA said. Prior to that, on September 3, the NTA postponed the review for the same reason.

“Several inquiries were received from candidates regarding the conflict with other major exams. Therefore, the NTA has decided to postpone the UGCNET cycles of December 2020 and June 2021 to later dates which will be announced shortly ”, informed the NTA by an official notification.

“Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NTA website (s) www.nta.ac.in, https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in for the latest exam updates. For any questions or clarification, applicants can call the NTA Helpdesk on 011 40759000 or write to the NTA at [email protected], ”he added.

This time, the NTA will be holding two sessions of the UGC NET, the December 2020 and June 2021 sessions, together in order to regularize the cycle of reviews that has been disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
