Odisha Govt on Friday released the modalities for publishing the results of the annual upper secondary (class 12) exams, which had been canceled earlier in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, a committee of experts was set up by the Council for Upper Secondary Education (CHSE) in accordance with government instructions to propose well-defined objective criteria for the alternative assessment of candidates for the annual secondary examination. superior. Based on the recommendations of the committee and with a view to the cancellation of the annual HS exams, 2021, the CHSE will follow the standards for handling exam results.

Marks will be awarded to regular applicants in Theoretical Papers / Theoretical Elements of Papers based on the candidate’s performance in the 10th Jury Examination. To this end, a detailed subject mapping has been prepared. The marks of the theoretical tests of the regular ex-examiners will be awarded on the basis of their performance in the previous CHSE exam to which they sat. Marks will be awarded in the practical / project component of a document for both regular and ex-regular applicants at their upper secondary level.

Grades awarded at the HS school level will be reviewed and moderated. A candidate who is not satisfied with the declared result based on alternative assessment criteria may choose to sit for the offline exam which will take place when the situation is right, the department said in a notification.
