According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Manjusha Neogi. The actress’ mother claims that she was in deep shock after the death of her friend and other model Bidisha de Majumdar two days ago. It is said that Majumdar was a well-known face for the photoshoot of the bride’s makeup. He allegedly committed suicide in his rented flat in Dumdum area on Wednesday evening. A senior police official said that Niyogi’s body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death. Niyogi’s mother said, ‘My daughter was in deep depression after the death of her friend Bidisha and was constantly talking about her.
Pallavi Dey also committed suicide
It is worth noting that a few days back, famous actress Pallabi Dey, who worked in TV serials, was recently found hanging in her rented flat in Garfa area of South Kolkata. Later, his live-in partner was arrested by the police.
Death of 2 actresses of Kannada film industry
Apart from the Bengal film industry, recently there is news of the death of 2 actresses from the Kannada film industry. Malayalam model and actress Sahana was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the night of 12 May. The actress’s 22nd birthday was on this day but her body was found on the same night at Kozhikode’s house.
