Former Haryana Chief Minister car accident in Gurugram

Former Haryana Chief Minister- Om Prakash Chautala was seated in the front seat next to the driver. Other than scratches, he suffered no injuries. Others were slightly injured in the crash.
CHANDIGARH: Former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala narrowly escaped when his car collided with another car on Sunday in Gurugram district. The vehicles were damaged after the accident. The police gave information about this incident. A police officer in Gurugram said the sports utility vehicle (SUV) Chautala (86) was in collided with another car.

Om Prakash Chautala was going somewhere from Gurugram to Jhajjar with his convoy. Then there was an accident of some vehicles near SGT University. However, no one was seriously injured in the accident. After this accident, the former chief minister was immediately taken to Medanta hospital for a check-up in another vehicle. During this time, there was a traffic jam on the road for some time.

The sub-inspector of the Bhudera police station in the district said over the phone: “This was a minor collision between the two vehicles. Om Prakash Chautala was seated in the front seat next to the driver. Other people were also injured in the crash. He said the incident happened on the Gurugram-Badli-Jhajjar road. Indian National spokesperson Lok Dal said INLD President Chautala was doing well.

Om Prakash Chautala is a former Chief Minister of Haryana from Indian National Lok Dal. In January 2013, a New Delhi court sentenced Chautala and his son Ajay Singh Chautala to ten years’ imprisonment under various provisions of the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act
