The same Vivek Agnihotri, in another tweet, alleged that the creators of The Kapil Sharma Show refused to promote his film because it had no commercial distribution. The non-promotion of this movie, which raised a very historic and important issue, angered some people, and then people on Twitter started using the #BoycottKapilSharmaShow hashtags. There were many tweets on this hashtag in which people made many allegations against Kapil Sharma and asked everyone to boycott this show. One person wrote: “Kapil Sharma refused to show the reality of Kashmiri pundits through #The_Kashmir_Files which chronicles the 1990s era. It shows that there is nothing without their support. We must support the work of Vivek Agnihotri had many such tweets on Twitter.
