Ask schools to download an Prudent document designed to CBSE 10th: Plea students

A plea has been filed in Delhi HC seeking an interim order to direct all CBSE affiliated schools to publish rationale document for devised criteria for the assessment of students of class 10th on their respective websites.

An application has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking an interim order to instruct all schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to publish a comprehensive set of standard 10 test procedures for students on their websites, before calculating the result and uploading the same on the CBSE website.

The application was filed by Justice for All through attorneys Shikha Sharma Bagga and Khagesh B Jha.

The petitioners’ court urged the court to issue a directive to publish a document of the scheduled procedures for the assessment of 10th grade students on websites to make it public, so that students can access and raise their grievances with the board properly and the student grievance board process.

“It is respectfully requested in this court that an interim order be directed to instruct all schools under the board to publish a logical document of the planned procedures for the examination of class Xth students on their websites, before calculating the results and incorporating them into the CBSE component. “and the board properly and timely and the grievance redressal process conducted by the student board,” the application said.

The application is expected to be heard on Monday by a holiday bench in the Delhi High Court.

The application was submitted to the ongoing Public Interest Litigation (PIL) court where the court gave notice to the CBSE, Center and Delhi Court.

PIL has sought direction for a change in the marking policy for the 1021 board board exams for 2021 based on the school’s internal assessment.

The petition stated that the applicant, acknowledging the responsibility to be vigilant in the PIL, “was expected by the government to look into illegality, to the point of absurdity where CBSE instead of examining students, inspected the school, in such a way that poor community groups have poor conditions and policy not only does it discriminate against children socially and economically but the grievance process is that the CBSE has left them with the mercy of the School. “He also added that if there is a mistake made by the teacher there is no remedy for grievances and the student has to pay high costs in terms of his or her academic work due to the incomprehensible typing error of the teacher in his or her absence without his or her role.
