Aparna Yadav To Join BJP, CM Yogi will be present.

Aparna Yadav to join BJP: Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of Samajwadi (SP) party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday morning. Aparna Yadav will join the party tomorrow morning at 10 am in the presence of CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Suffice to say that in view of the UP elections, defection work is in full swing in the state. Recently, several MPs, including three BJP ministers, joined the Samajwadi party. A few days earlier, it was also reported that he had joined the BJP, but former Kanpur Police Commissioner Aseem Arun had joined the BJP on his own. However, it has now been decided that tomorrow Aparna will officially go to the BJP.

Contested Lucknow Cantt elections with SP

Significantly, Aparna is the wife of Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh and the half-brother of Akhilesh Yadav. Aparna contested the 2017 assembly elections from the seat of Lucknow Cantt on a Samajwadi party ticket. He faced defeat to BJP’s Rita Bahuguna Joshi. Akhilesh Yadav had also campaigned for him. The BJP won the seat in by-elections held after Joshi was elected as an MP.

Aparna praised CM Yogi and PM

Despite being in the Samajwadi party, Aparna Yadav has been seen publicly praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A native of Uttarakhand, Aparna has also appeared with Yogi Adityanath on several occasions. There are reports that the BJP may make him a candidate for the Lucknow Cantt assembly seat.

On the issue of giving a ticket to Aparna Yadav, wife of Akhilesh Yadav’s younger brother, he said that “BJP is more concerned about our family than us”.
