Akshay Kumar Shares New ‘Bachchan Pandey’ Posters; Announces Release Date

‘Bachchan Pandey’ starring Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon has a new release date as it is expected to hit cinemas on the occasion of Holi on March 18 this year.

The film ‘Bachchan Pandey’, which is the festival’s first major release of 2022, was directed by writer-director Farhad Samji, who has films like “Housefull 3”, “Housefull 4”, “Singham” (screenwriter) under his belt.

Akshay took to his Instagram to share a series of posters of the movie as he wrote in the caption, “Action, Comedy, Romance, Drama. L-O-A-D-I-N-G this Holi! #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey in cinemas on 18th March, 2022 Directed by @farhadsamji”

Kriti Sanon also shared the post on her Instagram and wrote, “It’s going to be a super entertaining colorful HOLI this year!! #BachchanPandey by #SajidNadiadwala in theaters March 18, 2022 Action, Drama, Comedy, Romance…A complete dhamaal package !”

The posters have a grungy feel with earthy colors and tones dominating the frame, they show Akshay’s character as a desi gangster. While one poster shows Akshay sitting on a truck pointing his gun skyward with a group of people, the other sees the superstar in a rugged avatar, wearing chains around his neck and a bag loaded with guns and guns.

Furthermore, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, and Pankaj Tripathi and was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Warda Khan Nadiadwala.
