AKTU Online Exam: Students of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, are concerned about the university’s decision to conduct the exams offline. Launching an online campaign, several students asked AKTU to perform online exams because physical exams amid threat to an increase in Omicron cases in India that could put their health and lives at risk
The university had announced to conduct physical examination between December 28 to January 15, for all semesters except the first – third semester in which lateral entries take place. The lateral entry examinations are slated to take place in February 2022.

Students and Students support groups are against the AKTU offline exams and they demand to the UP government and AKTU university to conduct the online exams due to the fear of Omicron Variant.

Student said that: @AKTU_Lucknow is advised to not to behave like dictator, students’ demands are genuine. Why are you not providing the online examination facility, while the larger number of students demanding it?

Another students say that: The power of unity of students, they think we are weak but they are wrong students unity is the most powerful thing,now they @AKTU_Lucknow will not ignore us and we all request @myogiadityanath conduct onlineexams for saving lives.

On the other Hand AKTU inform that will be no diffculity or risk in taking the offline exam. And students should prepare for that.

AKTU students campaigned against the university’s decision to hold offline exams immediately after the AKTU 2021 date sheet was released for the odd semester exam. They have stepped up driving online due to fear of Omicron and the Covid-19 situation. Several students have even called for the intervention of the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adiyanath, in this matter. However, the university and the state government did not respond to their request. While there is only one day left for the start of the semester exams, the university has however clarified that the exams will take place in offline mode.

Students can download the AKTU 2020-21 admission card from the ERP login portal.

In accordance with the AKTU circular, the AKTU exam for the odd semester 2021 will be held in offline mode from December 28, 2021 to January 15, 2022. Students have been asked to complete and submit the AKTU application form for the odd semester 2021 by December 16 via the ERP. Student portal using their username and password.

The university has also extended the deadline for paying the AKTU exam fee on the university’s official website erp.aktu.ac.in until December 25. While releasing the AKTU 2021 date sheet for the odd semester exams, the university also announced that the AKTU 2021-22 exams for all semesters except the first and third semesters and side registrations will take place from of the last week of December. For courses that allow side entry, AKTU 2021 exams will start the last week of February 2022.
