‘AKTU Online exam lekar rahenge’: AKTU students launch campaign on Social Media

The AKTU(Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) student stepped up his online protest against the conduct of the exam in offline mode amid rising covid-19 cases on Sunday. The students launched an online Twitter campaign with the hashtag “AKTU online exam lekar rahenge”.

The students appealed to all engineering and management students studying at the university’s 763 affiliated colleges to make their request known by posting their objection to the university’s decision. Several students also posted memes against the University’s decision. The AKTU has scheduled its semester exam for various courses from the end of December.

“What good is it to be a technical university when, during a pandemic, it is not using technology?
The number of students at AKTU is not in the thousands but lakh and the university do not realize that it risks so many loves, ”said Ashish Deshpande, a student in BTech.

A student at a private engineering school in Ghaziabad said that Omicron made an entry into his town and under such circumstances, it was not safe to take an exam offline.
