Uttarakhand government has decided to cancel 10th grade exams. The Grade 12 exams have been postponed and the call will be filed on June 1, with Education MEC Arvind Pande notified. The UBSE 12th grade exams are scheduled to run from May 4 onwards. The decision is similar to the one taken by the CBSE earlier this week.

Last year, 1.19 lakh students from the 12th class and 1.47 lakh students appeared in the matric exams conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education. The same number is expected to also write the test this year. Board tests have been disrupted due to growing COVID-19 cases across the country.
