UPSC 2021 Civil Service Main Exam in January, DAF coming soon to upsc.gov.in

UPSC civil services 2021 main exam DAF is expected soon at upsc.gov.in. The exam will be held from January 7 to 16.

UPSC is expected to publish soon the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the next 2021 Main Civil Service Examination to be held January 7-16, 2022. The DAF will be available on the Commission’s official website, upsc .gov. in.

For the civil service examination, the UPSC solicits candidates in phases. In the first phase, application forms are invited for preliminary examination only. Applicants who qualify in the preliminaries are invited to submit detailed information via DAF.

Selection to the civil service is made by means of a preliminary examination, a main examination and a personal interview.

‘Applicants who are declared by the Commission as qualified for admission to the (Main) Civil Service Examination will have to re-apply online and submit online the Detailed Application Form-I [DAF-I] as well as documents / certificates scanned in carrier of date of birth, category {ie. SC / ST / OBC (without OBC annex) / EWS [Economically weaker sections] (without EWS annex) / PwBD / Former serviceman} and diploma with exam fee required ”, said the UPSC in the official notification of the services public. 2021.

Before the start of the interview, another DAF will be published by the UPSC through which it will ask candidates to indicate the order of preference only for the services participating in the civil service exam for the year, for which the candidate is interested in being assigned to. In this DAF, applicants will also need to upload documents / certificates for higher education, achievements in different fields, service experience, OBC annex (for OBC category only), EWS annex [for EWS category only ], etc.
