UP University Exam 2021: Decision on Uttar Pradesh university and college exams should be taken soon- CM Yogi

UP University Exam 2021: CM Yogi on Saturday directed the officials that a decision on the examinations of higher education and technical education should be taken soon. The CM said this later in the meeting of Team-9 in which senior officers were present.

He said the relevant departments should discuss the matter with universities and make the right decision regarding valid exams. He also said that such a system should always be in place for students.

Earlier on May 13, the UP government had set up a three-member vice-chancellor committee to propose ways to promote students the following semester. This arrangement will be available to all universities and college graduates. According to the official, it is difficult to do physical examinations in the current situation in Corona, so the government had set up a committee to promote students.

The committee is set to propose that the exams include VC of Lucknow University Alok Kumar Rai, AKTU professor Vinay Kumar Rai and Bareilly University VC Professor Krishna Pal Singh. On May 20, the committee submitted its report to the Secretary General (Higher Education) Monika S Garg.

APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU), in Lucknow, on Friday decided to wait for government instructions on whether the 2020-21 session exams will take place or not.

A few weeks ago, AKTU students campaigned on social media, asking the CM and the Department of Technical Education to promote them to the next class without being exams in the same way as 10, 12 board students.
