The tallest person in the country has now entered this campaign. The country’s tallest man, Dharmendra Pratap Singh, joined the Samajwadi party on Saturday. His height is 8 feet 2 inches. When Dharmendra Pratap Singh took to the streets of Lucknow to campaign for the SP, all eyes stopped.
He went door to door for party candidates with the Samajwadi Party flag in his hand. In the photos, he is seen meeting people and calling for votes in favor of SP. During the election campaign, Dharmendra Pratap Singh said that I joined the party inspired by the thoughts of the national chairman of the Samajwadi party, Akhilesh Yadav.
In fact, under the curious developments of the UP Assembly elections, “India’s tallest person” had joined the Samajwadi Party (SP). Dharmendra Pratap Singh, who claimed to be India’s tallest person, joined SP on Saturday.
Singh said on Sunday, “I will work for the party from a high altitude and eclipse the opposition.” He said other parties are already in decline because a large number of their leaders are joining the Samajwadi party.
In a tweet from its handle, tagging a photo of Dharmendra Singh joining the party in the presence of party chairman Akhilesh Yadav, the PS said, “Expressing faith in the policies of the Samajwadi party and the leadership of party chairman Akhilesh Yadav. Shri Dharmendra Pratap Singh of Pratapgarh has joined the SP.
The SP’s chief spokesman, Rajendra Chaudhary, said: “We hope the joining of India’s tallest person, Dharmendra Pratap Singh, will further strengthen the SP.” Asked why Dharmendra Pratap Singh was included in the SP, Chaudhary said, “Samajwadi party respects everyone and does not discriminate between people. SP is a party that takes everyone.”
Dharmendra Pratap Singh was asked if he wanted to contest the assembly elections, he said, “I have just accepted the membership in the party. As for contesting the elections, all decision will be taken by the party chairman Akhilesh Yadav. If he gives me a ticket, I will definitely contest the election.” On another matter, he said that he would like to stand in Pratapgarh assembly constituency.
