UP Board will finalize the evaluation formula for grades 10 and 12 by this week

UP Board Result 2021: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will soon announce the results of students in grades 10 and 12, whose board exams have been canceled by the state government due to COVID-19. It is expected that the UPMSP will finalize the formula for calculating students’ grades by this week, after which it will report their results. This time, the board of directors was asked by the state government not to publish the merit list.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said in a statement that the board’s outcome formula would be decided soon. He said: “We will not wait for the evaluation policy of the Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE). The UP Board model is different from CBSE. As soon as the formula for calculating the marks is finalized, the Board UP will publish the result.

The government of Uttar Pradesh has formed a committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Aradhana Shukla to decide on the formula for preparing the 10 and 12 results. The final decision on the criteria for evaluating the outcome of the UP 2021 council will be made based on the recommendations of the panel.

On June 7, Shukla chaired a UPMSP meeting held with government officials, principals of private and private schools, and parent associations to discuss their suggestions regarding the grading policy for students in grades 10 and 12. 12.

It was suggested during the meeting that students in class 12 should be given final marks based on their pre-board exam of class 12 and performance of the semester and annual exams of class 11. For the calculation of class 10 marks, the results of the pre-boarding examinations of classes 9 and 10 must be taken into account for the preparation of the result.

Over 56 lakh students registered for UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams. 29.4 lakh students registered for the 10th board exam and 26.1 lakh students registered for the 12th board exam.
