The Kerala university PhD entrance exam registration closes on November 17. The exam will be held on December 4.
The 2021 Doctoral Entrance Examination (General Aptitude Test) to determine eligibility for full-time / part-time doctoral research admission at University of Kerala will take place on December 4th. Registration for the exam will close on November 17th. Applicants can apply through the application forms available on the official university website.
Applicants holding UGC-NET / JRF, UGC CSIR-NET / JRF, SLET recognized by UGC and GATE research grants from central government and state ministries / agencies approved by the University are exempted from attending the ‘exam. Apart from these candidates, those with M.Phil. / Doctorate. Holders of diplomas and educational scholarships, DBT-JRF in the field of biotechnology, DST-INSPIRE scholarship, ICMR-SRF scholarship holders are also exempt from taking the exam.
Scientists working in approved research laboratories owned or managed by central / state government or an autonomous research institution of national status with seven years of experience in the scientific degree, having two research articles published in journals of recognized research of the relevant subject approved by the relevant study council and teachers working in public / subsidized colleges affiliated with that university who have seven or more years of teaching also fall under the exemption, the university said.
The exam will have a total of 100 points and the minimum marks to pass this exam are 50% for candidates of all categories, except for the SC and ST categories for which the passing mark is 40%.
