Toshiba wants to put two immigrants in the new board, holding the EGM

Japan’s Toshiba Corp will hold an emergency meeting to nominate new members and wants to hold two new immigrants among the new directors, the board chairman said on Monday.

Osamu Nagayama made the remarks at an online news conference, a day after the troubled party said two board members and two officials had resigned, following an investigation that revealed the company had collaborated with the government to crack down on shareholders.
