With smartphones curling into something, Motorola is now working on a new folding Razr phone. Motorola was one of the first companies to introduce mobile phones to the market.
The Lenovo-owned company launched the first Razr in 2019, followed by the 5G version of the device in 2020. Now, with so many companies jumping into the folding market, Motorola is also preparing to launch a Razr 2020 replacement.
Lenovo official wrote to Weibo about Razr’s upcoming call. He pointed out that the new Razr will be stronger and more advanced.
Phones will be introduced with more improvements than the previous Razr. It will feature powerful interiors and will come with an improved UI. The design is expected to be the future as well.
Motorola is expected to introduce the folding device to the Chinese market for the first time.
But considering that both of its predecessors were legalized in world markets, we can expect the new Razr to reach the Indian market and other important markets.
Currently, we have Moto Razr 5G and Moto Razr 2019 available in the market. Moto Razr 5G is available in India for Rs 89,999 with 8GB + 256GB variant.
The smartphone was previously sold online for Rs 1,0,9,000, but could be purchased for a discounted price of Rs 89,999 at Flipkart.
The old Moto Razr is available for Rs 54,999 in India. Previously the smartphone was priced at Rs 74,999 with a variation of 6GB + 128GB.
Moto Razr 5G: Details
The Moto Razr 5G features a 6.2-inch poLED display with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. The device also comes with a second display on the back of the phone, with a 2.7-inch display with an aspect ratio of 4: 3.
The Razr 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor integrated with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded using a MicroSD card.
The Motorola Razr 5G features a 48-megapixel quad pixel rear camera. For the photos you took, there is a 20-megapixel camera with F2.2 aperture.
However, the 48-megapixel scanner can be used as a rear camera when the phone is open, and can also be used as a front camera when the phone is exposed.
A 2800mAh battery supported by 15W TurboPower Charger is placed under the hood of Razr 5G. The smartphone runs Android 10 out of the box but can be upgraded to Android 11.
When folded the Moto Razr 5G measures 72.6 x 91.7 x 16 and when you unlock the smartphone, it weighs 72.6 x 169.2 x 7.9. The smartphone weighs 192g.
