The iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 can also add larger batteries thanks to the use of smaller components

Apple wants to solve a big problem facing many iPhone 13 users. Over time with its s martphones, Apple may be attacking the battery backup by creating more battery space within the device.

With this, the Cupertino tech manager will reportedly be using smaller iPhones. The same navigation will be followed by other Apple devices, including iPads and MacBooks.

The decision was identified in a new DigiTimes report. The report suggests that Apple will significantly increase the adoption of integrated integration devices or IPDs across all of its devices in the future.

Since these chips will be smaller than the ones currently in use, devices will have more internal space after use.

The reason for the small size of the chips is the improved performance that will allow for higher performance with a smaller scale size.

If these chips are used, logically Apple will have more space to fill the extra battery capacity in its products.

The report, identified by Mac Rumors, cites industry sources for the disclosure. Sources suggest that Apple may increase business with its manufacturing partners TSMC and Amkor for new and smaller IPDs.

Sources have indicated that peripheral chips will be used by Apple on iPhones, iPads and MacBooks.

The demand for IPDs is expected to grow significantly as the company continues to embrace this new trend in the coming years.

No timeline has been set, however, for this change from now on. The end of the confirmation of this change comes with Apple’s recent approval of TSMC’s 6th generation process for mass production of IPDs.

These IPDs will be used for new iPhones and iPads going forward.

Apple is actively pursuing larger batteries in its products, as has been repeatedly suggested by the upcoming iPhone 13.

The previous speculation has even speculated that new iPhones will be larger than the iPhone 12 series to accommodate larger batteries.

Apple has previously managed to maximize battery storage for some of its devices with better battery performance within its silicon chipsets.

It remains to be seen how the company complies with the battery standards of the Android ecosystem, especially with future OLED screens, with new iPDs in its future products.
