Stock Market: Indian stock market closed in red mark 

Stock market close March 25, 2022: The Indian stock market closed in the red on the last trading day of this week due to the selloff in the stock market and the recovery of investors’ profits. At the close of trading today, the Mumbai Stock Exchange index closed at 57,362 points, down 233 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,153 points with a gain of 70 points.

In the stock market, buying was seen in sectors such as metals, real estate, media, energy, infrastructure, while selling was seen in stocks of banking, pharmaceuticals , FMCG, Consumer Durables, Automotive and IT. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 stocks closed in the red. While only 8 stocks closed in the green. On the other hand, out of 50 shares of Nifty, only 12 shares closed in the green mark while 38 shares closed in the red mark.

1.92% of Dr. Reddy, Asian Paints 0.82%, Reliance Ind 0.73%, SBI 0.69%, Kotak Mahindra 0.50%, Bharti Airtel 0.42%, Axis Bank 0.35% and IndusInd Bank closed with a gain of 0.04%.

Declining stocks
Titan 3.59%, Tech Mahindra 2.35%, Maruti Suzuki 1.79%, Wipro 1.18%, Larsen 1.14%, TCS 1.12%, Nestlé 1.12%, Bajaj Finserv 0.38% , Tata Steel 0.84%, NTPC 0.52%, UltraTech Cement 0.40. percentage drop.

On the Mumbai Stock Exchange, out of 3,510 shares, 1,359 shares closed in the green, while 2,078 shares closed in the red. There is no change in the price of 103 shares. 19 stocks are closed in the upper circuit, then 1 stock is closed in the lower circuit.
