Tesla will release Full Self-Driving Beta 10 next Friday: Elon Musk

Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk wrote on Twitter that car makers will be releasing a beta version of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) 10 next Friday.

“It looks promising that Beta 10.1, about 2 weeks later, will be good enough for the public opt-in button,” he added.

Responding to a question on Twitter, Musk said FSD 10 will have some UI improvements than FSD 9.

Responding to another Twitter user, the Tesla manager said he was unsure of the timeline for approval of FSD beta control in Canada.

“I’m not sure, but maybe a few months. Usually, in any region, we need to make the software work, test it more and get legal approval. If we could go faster while safe, we would do it!”

Tesla chief executive had recently admitted that FSD Beta 9.2 is “not good”.

On August 24, Musk wrote on Twitter “FSD Beta 9.2 is not really a good situation (in my opinion), but the Autopilot / AI team is coming together to improve very quickly.”
