The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) postponed most of the trials that were due to be held in April and May due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in the country. According to the commission’s official statement, the Employment Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Exam 2020, Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2020 negotiations, and many other employment tests have been postponed. With due regard to health considerations, closed borders and anti-social practices, the Commission has decided not to conduct tests and negotiations at this time.
The announcement also states that the 2020 UPSC EPFO test, scheduled for May 9, has been canceled for now. Also, the personal postponement (negotiations) of the Indian Economic Service or Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2020 which was to be held from April 20 to 23 has also been postponed until further notice. The Civil Services Examination 2020 discussion was scheduled from April 26 to June 18 in several phases. Revised dates for these tests will be released after reviewing the status of Covid-19 in the country.
UPSC will publish the updated schedules on its official website upsc.gov.in. The Commission has confirmed that candidates will be notified of the new program at least 15 days before the test. Applicants should keep a check on the official site for further updates on UPSC postponement and revised test schedules.
UPSC has already issued a consent card for all three tests on its official website. Applicants can download a written UPSC EPFO hall ticket for the 2020 exam using registered entry details. The application form was announced last year in January. Those who have applied with similar success can appear in the trial. For more information, visit the official UPSC website.
Meanwhile, the Staff Selection Commission has also postponed the Combined Higher Secondary Level 2020 integrated assessment. Students whose exams are scheduled for April 20 or later will appear in the next exam. Updated dates have not been released.
