Rahul Gandhi blames the government for the increase in LPG prices

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday criticized the government for rising domestic fuel prices, saying the country was coming together to fight this injustice.

The ANC has been attacking the government over rising petrol, diesel and LPG demands and has been demanding a reduction in some of the taxes imposed by the central government.

“The one who forces the community to sleep on his own is lying in the shadow of friends … but the world is united in injustice,” Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi.

The Congress leader used the hashtag “#IndiaAgainstBJPLoot” and posted a chart with the prices of local LPG cylinders in four major municipalities in the country since January this year showing how prices have risen.
