Nushrratt Bharuccha’s Birthday: When he plays the most powerful girl in the Seventh TV show

Before Nushrratt Bharuccha gained fame in Bollywood, he produced a YRF Television program Seven (2010) which was broadcast on the Sony channel. On her birthday today, we are also visiting the dream drama.

The Nushrratt Bharucha starrer YRF show Seven gave a modern twist on Ashvamedha Prophecy. Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has broken his image of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ girl. The actor has expanded his horizons and has performed a variety of roles over the years – from playing the dream version of the girl in Chalaang to playing home-based reality and figuratively losing power in Ajeeb Daastaans.


Nushrratt has been around for over a decade. He may have been recognized by Love Sex Aur Dhokha, and later gained fame for Pyaar Ka Punchnama’s movies, but not many remember his stance on television.

Seven revolved around the concept of ‘Saptarish’ or seven scholars in Hindu mythology. They must unite their forces together, to save the world and to fulfill the prophecy of Ashwamedha. What stops him from revealing this secret is his rival Asht, the master of evil.

Nushrratt played the role of Drishika Kashyap aka Drish, who received ideas. He can foresee the future and has strong mental faculties. Drishika had a twin brother – Mastishk Kashyap, who could read people’s minds and control their thoughts. The brothers receive power from each other. Naveen Kaushik has identified a major opponent, Asht. Abhimanyu Ray was its acting director.
