Mumbai Rave Party Case: Court to announce verdict on Aryan Khan’s bail request tomorrow

Mumbai: A special NDPS tribunal will deliver its verdict on Thursday (October 20) on the bail request of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan in an alleged Mumbai Rave Party Case. Last week, the court reserved its order on bail applications for Aryan and other defendants in the case until tomorrow.

After hearing arguments between BCN lawyers and defendants’ lawyers, Special Judge V.V. Patil kept his verdict on Aryan and other bail requests pending until October 20.

BCN told the court that although no drugs were recovered from Aryan during the raid, the child star was in “conscious possession” of the narcotic substance as he is related to Arbaz Seth Merchant, including 6g of charas were recovered, according to a report in IANS.

Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, who represented the NCB, said Aryan was not a first-time drug user and that there was evidence to show that he had been using drugs for a few years, added the news agency report.

Why was Aryan Khan arrested?

The Narcotics Control Bureau raided a rave party on a luxury cruise on October 2. Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaz Seth Merchant, and others were arrested and then arrested in a drug seizure case. They have been reserved under various sections of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Aryan, Arbaz, and other accused men are currently in judicial custody at Arthur Road Central Prison in Mumbai, while Munmun and another accused woman have been transferred to Byculla Women’s Prison.
