Maharashtra Brings Back Covid Borders After Delta Plus Cases Discovered In State

Maharashtra has canceled the first and the second level of unlocking where almost all activities have resumed in the past few days.

The Maharashtra government decided on Friday to reinstate some Covid-19 restrictions in the state after cases of the Delta Plus variant were reported in the state. Instead of a five-level unlock that the government announced earlier, there will now be three-level restrictions. The decision was made in light of the cases of Delta plus variant cases found in the state, the government said.
