New Delhi: President Rashtriya Janata Dal, Lalu Prasad Yadav, has expressed his wish to see his son, RJD leader, Tejashwi Yadav, ally with party leader Lok Janshakti (LJP) Chirag Paswan in Bihar.

Supporting LJP leader Chirag Paswan, who was abandoned by five MPs from his party led by his uncle Pashupati Kuma Paras, Lalu Yadav said the young parliamentarian has emerged as a leader despite what happened in the LJP party in the past.

Favoring an alliance between the leader of the LJP and his party, Lalu Prasad Yadav declared “I want them to be together, people have rallied around him”.

It may be recalled that the head of the RJD, Tejashwi Yadav, had previously contacted Paswan and supported him as the head of the LJP. He even announced that he was celebrating the Dalit Messiah on Ram Vilas Paswan Ji’s birthday to commemorate his contribution to the state.

Earlier today, RJD Chairman Lalu Prasad Yadav met with Loktantrik Janata Dal chief Sharad Yadav and his daughter Misa Bharti in New Delhi. The leaders held talks for over an hour and discussed issues related to who would be overlooked in parliament.

On Monday, Lalu Prasad Yadav met Samajwadi Party MP Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh Yadav at his residence in Delhi. The RJD president called his visit to Mulayam Singh Yadav a “courtesy visit” to inquire about the health of the ailing former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
