Aligarh Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Aligarh on Thursday to inspect Kovid’s plans. Yogi said at Jahaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), there would be no need for oxygen combustion by any means. Expressing sadness over the deaths of AMU teachers and staff, the Prime Minister hoped that the vaccination campaign would be strengthened on campus and that this would rectify the situation. He said the oxygen supply had started at AMU Hospital on Wednesday and would not be allowed to fall in any way lack of oxygen.

The Prime Minister said during a review of the corona status in the Aligarh section, he found that active cases of infection in Kovid had decreased compared to last week. He said in the past few days, there had been a decrease in the number of cases of infection under treatment across the state. He said the necessary steps had been taken to overcome the shortage of oxygen in the country.

The Prime Minister said the country’s government had begun preparations to consider the possibility of a third epidemic. He said initially the shortage of oxygen supply came because last month, the demand for oxygen suddenly increased from 300 metric tonnes to 1,000 metric tonnes a day lack of oxygen.

Please note that Yogi was speaking to reporters after the meeting with Aligarh regional officials and AMU senior officials. Over the past three weeks at AMU, many retired teachers, existing teachers and other staff have died of corona or similar symptoms.
