#JEEStudentsWantJustice: Aspirants Launch Twitter Campaign Demanding 4 JEE Main Attempts in 2022

New Delhi: As the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 begins and ends on April 5, JEE Main aspirants are organising a Twitter campaign demanding four attempts and a sufficient gap between sessions. This year’s JEE Main 2022 exam will be held in two sessions: the first from April 21 to May 4, and the second from May 24 to May 29. Meanwhile, the aspirants and members of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) launched a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #JEEStudentsWantJustice.

Dissatisfied with two attempts, a clash with board exams, and insufficient gap between sessions of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022, aspirants, ministers, and members of the students’ union took to Twitter and urged the Union Education Minister and NTA to postpone the second session, hold four sessions, and provide sufficient gap between each session.

Anila Bhendia, Cabinet Minister for Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, took to Twitter and wrote, “Reducing the number of #JEEMains attempts at the last minute and scheduling them between board exams with insufficient time between will send students into a frenzy. I also ask that the authorities pay attention to the rational demands of students.”

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) member Tweeted, “JEE Mains is an important exam that determines the future of lakhs of students. Uncertainty pertaining to these exams is a serious matter of concern for all of us. I urge the authorities to be empathetic towards the students of the nation.”

The JEE Mains exam will be held on April 21, 14, 25, and 29, 2022, as well as May 1 and 4, 2022. At the same time, in addition to the 13 existing cities, 12 new foreign cities have been added for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1.
