JEE Main 2022 Students to juggle Board Exams

JEE Main 2022 Students who will be taking their Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12 Board exams are writing on Twitter to demand more than two attempts for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that there will only be two attempts for the JEE Main owing to Covid-19 relaxations, the Tweets have been making rounds on the social media platform for more than a week.

However, many JEE aspirants who are writing their Board Examinations say that two attempts are not enough. They also say that the small gap between the two examinations has made them difficult.

While one hints that he doesn’t have enough time to prepare, the other says that studying for both exams

@raj_raj1790 on Twitter wrote, “How will students prepare together for MCQ-based JEE and Description-based CBSE? JEE and CBSE spread just 2-3 days on 1st and 2nd attempts. Released Dates 45 days in advance only. Many State Board exams face each other even on the 1st try.” (CIS)

Similar to the previous opinion, @hardiksharmajee, another aspirant on Twitter, wrote that preparations for the two exams require a different mindset.

“The board exams and the JEE preparation are both done with a different mindset. While we study for the board exams, we have to go through the theoretical part and the writing practice. In the JEE, we only need to know the concept and practice questions. How can both be done simultaneously? Nowadays, we have to go to school for practice exams which are not necessary for JEE preparation. In 40 days we have our JEE Mains exam, and after JEE in the next 7-8 days only we have our boards, so how can we handle this situation? There needs to be a sufficient gap between these two exams,” wrote- he.(SIC)

Another seeker wrote that NTA should have tried more.

“NTA could have given us at least three attempts this time. We are literally in a position where we are swinging between JEE and reviewing the boards,”
