The Central Seat Allocation Council (CSAB) will soon announce details of the seat matrix, schedule for admission to NITs, IIEST, IIIT and other government-funded institutes. Details will be available on the official CSAB website, csab.nic.in.
The seats will be filled according to the merit list prepared on the basis of the JEE 2021 main exam.
For CSAB 2021, the coordinating institute is Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, JLN Marg, Jaipur-302017, Rajasthan, India.
On the basis of the rank of JEE (main), admissions will also be made in the first year of the engineering / technology and architecture / town planning programs at supernumerary seats in the NITs for the Union territories and in certain institutes approved by AICTE for the North-East and Union (NEUT) territories via this centralized seat allocation procedure.
“For the proper functioning of the admission procedure, which makes it possible to obtain a maximum number of candidates admitted to the course and to the institute of their choice and to minimize the number of vacant seats, candidates are advised to follow carefully follow the admission procedure indicated in the information brochure. The procedure provides sufficient flexibility in each round of allocation and applicants are encouraged to cooperate by not extending their final admission decision after the allocation of seats. This will make it easier to meet the needs of a greater number of applicants seeking admission through CSAB-2021, ”an official statement said.
