Jacqueline Fernandez Stopped At Airport By ED Over Extortion Case – Report

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez made headlines after her name appeared in the money laundering case against con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar. According to the latest update, the “Ram Setu” actress was arrested at the airport by the Directorate of Execution (ED).

Jacqueline was reportedly prevented from leaving the country as part of the investigation into the alleged Rs 200 crore extortion case involving con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

A case has been registered against the actress at the Directorate of Execution in Delhi.
According to an NDTV report, Jacqueline Fernandez, who was leaving India for a show in Dubai, was “arrested at Mumbai airport by immigration officials due to a LOC (Look Out Circular)”.

The report added that the actress will now be brought to Delhi for questioning.
Jacqueline’s name emerged as he investigated the money laundering case of con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The name of the actress appeared as the crook gave her expensive gifts. Actress Nora Fatehi’s name also appeared in this alleged affair. Both were interviewed by the ED.

Nora Fatehi’s team released a statement denying its involvement in the case. The statement read, “On behalf of Nora Fatehi, we would like to clarify the various conjectures circulating among the media. Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and as a witness she is cooperating and assisting the police in the investigation.

We would like to point out that she did not participate in any money laundering activity, that she does not know or has any personal connection with the accused and that she was called by ED to strictly assist in investigation.

Meanwhile, speaking about Jacqueline’s upcoming films, she will next be seen in Ram Setu ‘,’ Bachchan Pandey ‘,’ Cirkus’, ‘Vikrant Rona’ and ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’.
