CarryMinati in legal difficulty? Delhi-based lawyer files claim against him for ‘objectionable content against women’

Objectionable content against women: CarryMinati, who is known for his comedy skits and reactions to various topics online, finds himself in trouble with the law. A lawyer in Delhi has filed a lawsuit against the YouTuber accusing him of making derogatory remarks against women in his roasted videos. Scroll down to find out more.

The YouTuber, whose real name is Ajey Nagar, is a streamer from Faridabad. He is mainly involved in the creation of diss songs, satirical parodies, and comedies in Hindi. He has over 30 million subscribers and is dubbed India’s biggest YouTuber.

Delhi-based lawyer Gaurav Gulati filed a lawsuit against CarryMinati for “making sexually colored remarks against women, posting objectionable material on his Youtube, roasting and depicting women indecently and posting language and gestures obscene concerning women ”on his channel. A criminal complaint was registered under Articles 354, 509, 293, and 3/6/7. Take a look at the tweet shared by the lawyer.

This is not the first time that the Youtuber has courted controversy. Previously, he shared a roasted video titled “YouTube Vs TikTok – The End” which caused controversy on YouTube India in 2020. Many are unaware that he was named “Next Generation Leader” by TIME Magazine in 2019.

CarryMinati previously spoke about the experience in a conversation with Outlook India. He said: “At first I didn’t know how huge it was, but after the feature film I realized the honor. It motivated me to put more effort into what I was doing and it was amazing to be celebrated internally for expertise that was still in its infancy in India.
