Investigation of cases- Aryan Khan Drug Case: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrived in Mumbai on Saturday. A day earlier, the BCN transferred the investigation of six cases to SIT, including the controversial cruise drug case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. Investigation of cases- NCB regional director Sameer Wankhede said he was not the investigator in these cases. Wankhede said he was a supervisory officer as an area manager and his role would remain the same. Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik said everything would be exposed in the investigation. Malik tweeted: “I had requested an SIT investigation against Sameer Dawood Wankhede for Aryan Khan kidnapping and ransom demand. Now two SITs (State and Center) have been formed. Let’s see. BCN arrested Aryan Khan and at least 19 others in the cruise drug case last month . Wankhede is facing a departmental vigilance investigation after an independent witness in the case made allegations of attempted extortion against those involved in the investigation. Aryan Khan was released on bail on October 30. Wankhede has denied any wrongdoing.
