India vs Pakistan- India started with a victory in the Women’s World Cup. In their first match, the Indian team beat Pakistan by 107 runs. Batting first after winning the coin toss, the Indian team scored 244 runs in 50 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Smriti Mandhana scored 52 points, Deepti Sharma scored 40 points, Pooja Vastrakar scored 67 points and Sneh Rana scored 53 points.
In response, the Pakistani side were at 137 runs from 43 overs. Sidra Amin scored 30 points for Pakistan. Meanwhile, Rajeshwari Gaikwad excelled for India, winning four wickets for 31 runs in 10 overs. Other than that, Jhulan Goswami and Sneh Rana each have two wickets. Meghna and Deepti each sent a player to the pavilion.
