GATE 2022 registration has been postponed. The registration portal which was scheduled to open today, August 30. GATE or the graduate aptitude test in engineering is held for admission to masters program. The GATE score is also used by some public sector companies for recruitment.

Registration for GATE 2022 has been postponed. The registration portal was scheduled to open today, August 30. GATE or the aptitude test of engineering graduates is organized for admission to the master’s program. The GATE score is also used by some public sector companies for recruiting.

GATE 2022 will be held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022.

So far, no other changes have been announced in the registration schedule. The deadline for submitting application forms remains September 24. However, the registration portal would remain for candidates who wish to register for the exam by paying a late fee.

On October 26, the registration portal will reopen and applicants will be allowed to correct errors made in their application form. The possibility of rectifying the request will remain open until November

GATE 2022 is led by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and six other Indian Institutes of Technology in Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee and the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordinating Council – GATE , the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.

The organizing institute of GATE 2022 is IIT Kharagpur.

To apply for GATE 2022, applicants must have the following available:

• Personal information (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents ‘name, parents’ mobile number, etc.)

• Communication address (including PIN code)

• Details of the eligibility diploma

• College name and address with PIN code

• GATE paper (s) (subject)

• Three choices of GATE exam cities

• High quality image of the candidate’s photograph meeting specified requirements

• Good quality image of the candidate’s signature complying with the specified requirements

• Scanned copy of the category certificate (SC / ST) (if applicable) in pdf format.

• Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable) in pdf format.

• Scanned copy of dyslexia certificate (if applicable) in pdf format.

• Scanned copy of one of the valid photo ID documents: Aadhaar-UID (preferred), passport, PAN card, voter card and driver’s license. The same original ID MUST be brought to the examination room.

• Net-banking / debit card / credit card / UPI information for payment of fees.
