Mata Vaishno Devi Fire News: The fire on Mata Vaishno Devi’s Trikuta hills is spreading rapidly. According to reports, the three-day-old fire has now become more intense. As a result, the administration is taking precautions to avoid any incident. So the team has landed on the mountain to control the same fire.
Helicopter Service Was Suspended
The administration also halted helicopter service on Monday due to the expansion of the Trikuta hills of Katra Mata Vaishno Devi. Because of the way the fire and smoke are spreading, the helicopter could cause any kind of accident; in fact, the helicopter facility was designed to transport devotees of the mother to the high mountains, but it was unable to take off due to the fire.

Heavy Fire Damage
The fire in Trikuta hill has reduced the forest wealth within a 5-kilometer radius to ashes. The fire on the mountain is said to be so fierce that smoke has spread all around. The Forest Department and the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board are attempting to put out the fire. The administration has also activated the Air Force to put out the fire.
High Wind Problem
Extinguishing the fire is difficult due to the winds blowing in the mountainous areas where the fire is spreading rapidly. The pilgrims are finding it difficult to travel due to the smoke from the fire. It is well known that fires are wreaking havoc across the country these days. A fire in Indore, MP, killed seven people, while a fire in Delhi claimed the lives of 27 people. Similarly, fire incidents are becoming more common in forest areas.
