Djokovic creates history by defeating Nadal!

In the second semi-final, Djokovic defeated Nadal 3-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-2 in a four-set match. Djokovic now has a chance to become the first player in the past 50 years to win all four Grand Slams more than twice.

This is not the first time that Novak has beaten the king of red gravel Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros. Also in 2015, Nadal had to face the defeat against Djokovic at Roland Garros. In 2016, Djokovic managed to win the Roland Garros title.

In the third set, Novak managed to win 7-6 in the middle of a very tough fight. In the fourth set, Djokovic won 6-2 to advance to the final.

After the match which lasted more than four hours,Novaksaid that it is wonderful to win against Nadal and that it is the most memorable match for me at Roland Garros. Djokovic now has a great chance of winning the 19th Grand Slam of his career by winning Roland Garros. Not only that, if Novak wins Roland Garros, he will only be one step behind Nadal and Federer.

Novak will face 22-year-old Tsitsipas in the final. It will be the first Grand Slam final of Tsitsipas’ career. He beat Zverev 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3 in the semifinals.
