India vs England: Suryakumar Yadav scored a brilliant half century in his maiden T20I

Ahmedabad: India striker Suryakumar Yadav became the fifth Indian player to hit 50 in his T20I innings during the fourth match against England in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Suryakumar Yadav, his replacement for his Indian team Ishan Kishan, has beaten six Jofra Archer in his first ball in international cricket and has held the Indian innings from there.

Suryakumar’s knock on the 57th helped India recover after an initial setback with the loss of the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul cheaply. Suryakumar had hit six fours and three sixs in his 57-run conference, one of which had driven Jofra Archer to the first ball he faced. The Mumbai Indian star has reached 50 in 28 balls.

Dawid Malan’s sharp grip to bring back Suryakumar Yadav turned out to be an undisputed decision. Before that Suryakumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma and Robin Uthappa were able to score 50 points in their T20I innings in India.
