Speaking to ANI news agency, Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry vice president Raghuvansh Arora said the organization welcomed the decision but the opening process was not understandable.
“We welcome the decision but the process of opening it does not make sense. We urge it to be increased for at least 3-4 weeks, ”Arora said of the government’s decision to open factories for one week from Monday.
He said there are 3 types of workers in Delhi. “15-20% are local, 50-60% came from Bihar & UP and the third came from Ghaziabad and Meerut. Those who left the city will not return for one week, ”added Arora.

One worker said, “I returned home during the closing hours. I came back here on May 8. I will go to the factory if they call me, ”said Ratan.
On Friday, New Delhi Traders Association president Atul Bhargava said they would ask the Delhi government to allow the opening of shops in the next phase of the opening operation.
“Certainly the proclamation has come as another cruelty to us. It has been fifteen months and there is no rest for traders. If factories are safe from infection why not in stores in Connaught Place where it is easy to keep public confusion? There has been no support for traders throughout the epidemic, we are doing business in our capital and now we are not supported in that, ”said Bhargava.
